Where It All Began

Born from a love of the outdoors and a passion for education, Willowbank Generation began in 2021 when Pat founded PDK Education under Willowbank CIC.  Inspired by a family camping trip and a deep passion for angling and outdoor learning, Pat drew on years of experience in the education sector — including as Deputy Head — to create a new kind of educational offer rooted in nature and personal growth.

In 2022, Pat joined forces with Elizabeth, an accomplished educator with a rich background in outdoor education, specialist teaching, and mainstream schools. Their partnership sparked the official launch of Willowbank Generation — the core organisation supporting both Willowbank Generation and Bee Free On The Farm.​
